ONE DEAD, FIVE INJURED AS CAR DELIBERATELY HITS CROWD IN ÉVREUX, FRANCE
One person is dead and five others are injured, two of them critically, after a car deliberately drove into a crowd in Évreux, France. The tragic incident occurred on Friday night, following an altercation.
According to Évreux prosecutor Rémi Coutin, the event took place around 4 a.m. after a fight in a bar. "An individual went to get a vehicle and deliberately reversed at high speed into the crowd outside the establishment," he stated.
Authorities have arrested three people in connection with the incident and have opened an investigation for murder and attempted murder.
