Post Shared by Pietro Orlandi
"She died peacefully, like someone who knows they have told the truth," wrote journalist Raffaella Notariale in a Facebook post announcing Minardi's death. "She passed away after having been to the hairdresser, she had made herself blonde and beautiful because she was waiting for her greatest loved ones. Sabrina died in her sleep... and I am humanly and professionally sorry. Not one, but a thousand insights she offered that most did not want to grasp. Not least the Inquiry Commission on the Emanuela Orlandi case... What were you waiting for, Your Excellencies?" The post was also shared by Pietro Orlandi, the brother of the missing girl, who has never stopped searching for truth and justice.
The Orlandi Case and Drug Arrests
Due to her close relationship with the Magliana gang boss, whom she met in a Rome club in 1982, Sabrina Minardi was able to recount many details related to Emanuela Orlandi's disappearance, thus becoming one of the most credible witnesses in the affair and leading to the reopening of the case. In 1994, Minardi was indicted on charges of criminal conspiracy aimed at inducing and exploiting aggravated prostitution. Then, in 2010, she was arrested again, and a pre-trial detention order was issued against her for drug-related offenses.
