ROYAL ROW: PRINCE HARRY DENIES PHYSICALLY ASSAULTING UNCLE ANDREW
Amid explosive claims in a new biography, Prince Harry's representatives have strongly refuted allegations that he physically attacked Prince Andrew during a 2013 family gathering.
A purported royal feud within the House of Windsor is currently dominating tabloid discussions. Prince Harry has vehemently denied claims that he physically assaulted Prince Andrew, even causing his "nose to bleed," during an alleged family altercation in 2013.
The Guardian reports on an excerpt from a new biography of the disgraced Duke of York, published in the Daily Mail. According to the book's account, the two princes engaged in a heated argument that supposedly escalated into a full-blown physical confrontation.
"Blows were allegedly thrown over something Andrew had said behind Harry's back," stated Andrew Lownie, the author of the biography titled 'The Rise and Fall of the House of York'. The author further claims that Andrew allegedly told his nephew that his marriage to Meghan Markle, now Duchess of Sussex, "wouldn't last more than a month." The late Queen Elizabeth's son reportedly went even further, accusing Meghan of "being an opportunist and being too old for Harry," adding that "his nephew was making the biggest mistake ever."
However, a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan has since confirmed "that the two princes have never had a physical altercation, nor did Prince Andrew ever make the comments he is alleged to have made about the Duchess of Sussex to Prince Harry."
