First Suspects Named in Scampia's

Naples – Approximately ten public officials have been added to the register of suspects by the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office. This development is part of the ongoing investigation into the collapse of a walkway at the "Vela Celeste" (Blue Sail) complex in Scampia, an incident that tragically resulted in three deaths and 11 injuries, including seven children.

The collapse occurred on the evening of Monday, July 22nd, shortly after 10:30 PM. Investigators are pursuing charges of negligent collapse, multiple negligent homicides, and negligent injuries.
